Yes, appointments are required at KBS. This helps ensure that every bride gets the full Kalon experience. Appointment books close one week prior to each date. Need an appointment sooner? Call us!

We recommend shopping 10-12 months prior to your big day to allow for typical production times and alterations once your dress arrives. However, if your big day is closer, don’t sweat! We work closely with our designers to stay up to date with current production times. All Kalon designers also offer a rush production when timelines are extra tight! We gotchu!

Our collection starts at $1500 and goes up to $5000. The majority of our gowns are between $2500-$3500.

We don’t like to think of a limit, and more so of what will be best for you and your whole crew! We only have so much room in each of our dressing rooms, and we want to make sure everyone who steps foot in KBS has a great experience - brides and their best people included!

We offer multiple types of appointments here at KBS - each with their own unique length of time:

• Private Bridal Appointments : 120 minutes

• Bridal Appointments : 90 minutes

• Returning Bridal Appointments : 30 minutes *can be longer if requested

• Accessory Styling Appointments : 30 minutes

• Pick up Appointments : 30 minutes

Sample sizes in the studio currently range from 8-20 with the majority between 10-14 and an ever-growing collection between 8-24. Our designers can be ordered in the following ranges:

First and foremost wear both an outfit and undergarments you feel comfortable and confident in! We recommend undergarments that fit well under formal attire like nude undies and a strapless bra or pasties. If you know what shoes you are wearing on your big day or plan to wear spanx, bring those too!

You can always reschedule or cancel your appointment by giving us a call or shooting us an email! If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a late cancellation fee.

KBS requires a 75% deposit to place the order for your gown with your designer. Once your deposit has been placed, we are proud to offer payment plans for the remainder of your balance if desired. Your final balance is due at the time of pick up!

We are proud to offer exclusive private, in-studio fittings with a talented DSM area seamstress for our KBS brides. Ask your stylist how to get on her books during your bridal appointment!

We are located in the historic Frenchway Cleaner’s building and have ample parking in our lot just east of the building. There is also limited street parking available on Euclid Ave in front of our storefront.

Yes, you absolutely can say yes to the first dress you try on! As with all things in love, when ya know ya know. However, we do recommend trying on more than one dress to lock in your yes and prevent any doubts from creeping up before your dress arrives. Besides how many times do you get to play dress up as an adult?!
