Welcome to our little slice of bridal paradise! The 515 bridal shopping experience has been disrupted, and traditional wedding dress shops have been redefined here at KBS. With charming historic touches, cozy interior touches, and incredible natural lighting — Kalon Bridal Studio is where the wildest dreams come true.
From the moment you step foot through our doors, we hope it’s pretty darn clear you are right where you are meant to be.
Your KBS studio experience starts the second you walk through our front doors. Our team will greet you with a smile and small talk while we wait for your entire group to arrive!

The gallery makes your Kalon experience a breeze - less is most definitely more. We let our gowns breathe vs. making brides fight the racks to get an idea of what they are looking for.
GOWN GALLERY
Designed to make you feel like the only bride in the room, the Poppy & Aster dressing room suites create privacy and an intimate atmosphere for you and up to five guests (1.5 hours).

Our favorite corner of Des Moines - welcome to the Hawthorn Suite! The private Kalon experience accommodates larger groups of up to eight guests, and includes snacks & bubbly (2 hours).

THE KALON
We are located in the historic Frenchway Cleaner’s building on the north side of Des Moines. We have ample parking in the lot just east of the building. There is also limited (but FREE) street parking available on Euclid Ave in front of our storefront, and on our neighboring side streets.
